Description

The VArio device from Vágner Pool is an intelligent control system for the automation and management of pool technology. It allows for comprehensive control of all pool elements, such as filtration, lighting, water treatment, countercurrent or water attractions. The system is modular, so it can be easily expanded with other functions or integrated into existing technological equipment, in this case Loxone. This template allows you to read the pool status, control the temperature, lighting and individual attractions.

Integration procedure

Requirements:

- VArio pool controller - DIN module version 1.4 - VArio communication device - WiFi module version 1.4 - Account on the website >> https://www.variopools.com/cz/ - Loxone Miniserver (Gen. 2 or Compact)

1 Settings on the VArio side In this step, you must register on the website https://www.variopools.com/cz/ and log in to the created account.

1.1 Activating VAPI communication

1. After logging into your account, click on the three tildes at the top 2. Then select the tab called VAPI 3. A window will appear with the option to activate the VAPI Token, activate it by checking the box 4. Copy the activated VAPI Token using the appropriate button so that it can then be used in the Loxone config

2 Settings on the Loxone side In step number 2, you will set up Virtual Inputs and Outputs in Loxone config, using the downloaded templates, so that they can be used to create additional logic.

2.1 Setting up Virtual inputs 2.1.1 Import template

1. In the peripheral tree, select Virtual Inputs 2. In the upper right, click HTTP Device Templates 3. Select to import the template "VArio States"

2.1.2 Replacing placeholders It doesn't end with importing the template, and it is necessary to replace the placeholders with specific "information".

1. Click on Virtual Input, which will appear after the template has been successfully imported. 2. Change the placeholders as follows: 3. <username> username you use to log in to Miniserver 4. <password> password you use to log in to Miniserver 5. <ip-address> local IP address of Miniserver

2.2 Setting up Virtual outputs 2.2.1 Import template

1. In the peripheral tree, select Virtual Outputs 2. In the upper right, click HTTP Device Templates 3. Select to import the template "VArio Settings"

2.2.2 Replacing placeholders

1. Click on Virtual Output, which will appear after the template has been successfully imported. 2. Then select any Virtual Output Command (it doesn't matter which one, as the VAPI Token will need to be added for each one) 3. In the marked place where you will find YourVAPIToken as a placeholder, add the generated VAPI Token from step 1.1 from point 4. (leave the quotes as they are and don't delete them!)

3 Testing the integration functionality For example, in the Virtual Output named Light, change the HTTP body for ON, the placeholder symbols xxx to a value in the range 0-240 and then activate the Virtual Output and enter the value. The Virtual Input named Light should return the entered value after a while.

*All value ranges and what each value means can be found in the Documentation for each Virtual Input/Output.
