  1. Integration of systemair into loxone

    Open

I would like to integrate my systemair sace vtr 250/B into my loxone home automation. Do you have any template how to steer fan speed etc. over the loxone app? Thanks!

    1. Do you have the Loxone modbus module? If Yes, I guess you can use the same template and just check the modbus adress for your 250/B.

  2. Request for SAVE VTR 300 L Modbus registers – Freecooling / Rotor stop logic

    Open

Hi, I am currently using your Loxone integration map for my Systemair SAVE VTR 300 L recuperation unit. It works great for basic control (fan speeds, temperature readings), but I would like to expand it to support the freecooling feature (using cool outdoor air in summer by stopping the rotary heat exchanger). Since the VTR 300 L uses a rotary wheel instead of a physical bypass flap, the cooling mode is achieved by completely stopping the rotor. Could you please advise me on how to best implement this into the Loxone config, or point me to the right Modbus registers? Specifically, I'm looking for: The recommended approach: Is it better to let the Systemair internal logic handle it automatically by simply lowering the supply air temperature Setpoint (e.g., to 16°C) from Loxone during summer nights? If so, is there a specific register to enable/disable the freecooling function itself? Direct control: If I want to trigger the rotor stop manually via Loxone logic, which Modbus registers (holding/input) control the freecooling state or allow overriding the rotor speed to 0? If you have an updated Modbus register map for the SAVE series or a snippet of your Loxone config handling this, it would be a massive help. Thank you so much for your time and for creating the integration map! Best regards, Tomas Pojar. +420775863744

    1. To determine which API should be used, I need to know which software version your SAVE VTR 300 L is running.

You can find this under System Information → Unit Version (or System Information → Aggregat Version, depending on your language settings).

Once I know the software version, I can advise which API and Modbus register map to use.
