Spirala heat pump
Content languageEnglish
Description
The Spirala heat pump, hereafter Hp, controls all relevant elements with its electronics, that is, valves, circulation pumps and also issues a signal to start the bivalent source, if needed. It only requires the desired heating water temperature from the superior system and heats the output to this temperature. You will need a Modbus Extension, connect it with a cable to the terminals of the user line of the switchboard module Hp, see Rm.jpg. The terminals are labelled RS485, A, B, gnd, connect them to Modbus Extension terminals of the same name and add 120 Ω termination resistors. In Loxone Config, mark Miniserver, add Modbus Extension, add template "MB_Spirala.xml" and "teach" the extension.
Reading data from Hp. Drag the appropriate Spirala sensor to the page, put a Factor value division behind it, and then a tag. Check "Use in UI" for the tag, set analogue type, units, icon, name and location. The corresponding value will be displayed on the app. To read the status of the fault relay, drag the "Fault relay" sensor, put binary coding behind it, connect output 6 to the digital type mark.
Sending data to Hp. Connect the data source (that is the output of the desired heating water temperature from the Loxone logic) to the x256 multiplication and then to the appropriate Spirala actor.
Important notice. The heating water flow through the heat pump condenser must never be blocked. For circuits without a storage tank, ensure that at least one heating element (radiator) is open. Before closing all heads, the heat pump must be switched off by entering the desired temperature zero. Consider using a storage tank. Consult the manufacturer for solutions. In installations with an accumulation tank, the flow is ensured.
