Solarfocus Heating & Cooling

Description
Solarfocus with the ecoManager-touch can be directly connected to Loxone via Modbus TCP.
Depending on variation of your project you can choose between Miniserver, Miniserver Go or Miniserver Compact The eco Manager is a operating system for Air/Water Heatpumps and biomass sources that are able to heat or cool by stand alone or combining them to Hybridsystems. The ecoManager-touch needs to be combined with Heating Circuits, Hot Water storages and buffers. The ecoManager-touch is able to operate his own pellet-boiler Pelletelegance Octoplus Ecotop Pellettop. The ecoManager-touch is also able to operate his own Hybrid-biomass-boiler Therminator II.
The choice of paring Solarfocus Systems with Loxone offers the possibility of:
- Integrating demand-based heating and cooling depending on e.g. presence or the protection of open windows, Automatic Shading and Weatherforecast. - Active integration in interaction with e.g. PV- systems in a Loxone Energy Management - Load management in areas where the building's electricity connection is low - Using flexible electricity tariffs with the Spot Price Optimizer. - Use statistics or individual notifications - Create individual system schematics. - Reduce cycles and operating hours of your Solarfocus Sources e.g. VampairPro - Combining hybrid solutions e.g. Heatpump and PV- Heating element in your Hot Water Storage - Blackoutsafe! Switch off the Heatpump if the Grid power fails e.g. emergency power is active to safe battery capacity. - Use the flexible ways of reading thermal heat meters and electricity meters via e.g. M-Bus or IR readers and the thermal or electrical visualization in the Loxone Energy Flow Monitor. For e.g. Contractors. - Whether residential or commercial buildings. No matter whether Solarfocus-ecomanagertouch or Loxone is the main operator, no matter which hydraulics and consumers. Connecting Solarfocus with Loxone systems allows the demand-oriented and intelligent distribution of energy. - Influence on the hot water circulation pump by controlling via the presence detectors. - Increased security through leakage detection or activation of IP cameras in the plant room. - Use of the Heatpump to operate a Pool and to automatically control the switching of heating, cooling and hot water. - Connectivity and setup of heating centers and heating substations with the flexible ways of Loxone intercommunication.
Solarfocus helpcenter, download area and activation of Modbus:
- If you need help with e.g. the configuration of Modbus within the Solarfocus Control unit please contact your Solarfocus Partner or the responsible Solarfocus branch. Solarfocus customer service can be commissioned for this purpose. - The direct download of documents on the Solarfocus Homepage is only available to Solarfocus Partners. Therefore, the instructions in the download area of the template must be used and checked for the latest version. - To activate Modbus TCP on the Control unit of your Solarfocus Source, please follow the Modbus TCP instructions e.g. "Solarfocus Modbus TCP Serviceanleitung + Datenpunkte" in the download area of the template. - In addition to the data points of the UseCase to the Download Button,a English template of datapoints is also available in the download area of the template.
Example UseCase: Integration of a Solarfocus Heatpump: Residential building with Heatpump, Hot Water storage, Heating/Cooling Buffer and Heating/Cooling circuits.
- Device Air/Water Heatpump - Hot water storage tank --> Controlled by Loxone - Heating/Cooling Buffer - Mixing circuit heating/cooling HC1 (e.g. Ceiling) --> Controlled by Loxone - Mixing circuit heating/cooling HC2 (e.g. Underfloor) --> Controlled by Loxone
