ModBus template for reading values from Sofar Solar Hybrid inverter over RTU.
Scope:
- PV production - Grid consumption - Overall consumption - SOC load/unload level - SOC storage level - inverter status
If your ModBus communication with Sofar goes silent over time consider contacting support for a fixed firmware with buffer overflow error fixed.

Modbus RTU connection
OpenHello,
may I ask how you have the connector in the COM port of the inverter? What pins are you using?
And how do you have the communication not set up in Config? What port are you using?
Is something more than a standard modbus extension needed? ?

Loxone Config: * baud rate 9600 * stop bit: 1 * parity: none Standard Loxone ModBus extension was used. Nothing else.
I used pins as in inverter's manual. Pins 1 and 3.
Write commands
OpenHello, you should also be able to change values in the inverter. I can't do that. Does anyone have a solution?
