The choice of paring Samsung AC Device with Loxone offers the possibility of:

- integrating demand-based heating and cooling depending on e.g. presence or the protection of open windows - Interaction with the blinds for saving effects by passive cooling thanks to Loxone automatic shading - Active integration in interaction with e.g. PV- systems in a Loxone Energy Management - Using flexible electricity tariffs with the Spot Price Optimizer. - Use statistics ore individual notifications - Create your own individual schematics - Grid-friendly control like §14a ENWG in Germany

Questions and answers

  1. Air flow direction

    Open

In the loxone config the airflow direction is at address 55 but in the installation modbus pdf the airflow is at 81 with signals 106,85,64,15 , at address 55 the vertical airflow direction is only with signal 0 and 1. But the control with signals 106,85,64,15 at address 81 does not work only signal 15 works.

Hi, why is the video private?

    1. The owner of the video has taken this offline, we are not able to provide a new video. So this link is taken offline.

  3. Lacking QC

    Open

    Hello,

there are inconsistencies in the naming scheme across the pre-defined devices. Like device 0 has "Actual Roomtemperature" and device 1 has "Room temperature".

There are also some ID errors. The base ID for room temperature is 59. In device 0 that is set to 58 (SET room temperature). Or the filter-cleaning reminder in device 0 is "107". But the documentation says "56". Seems like the filter warning is wrong across all devices.

I'd also like to make a request for adding more devices to the library. I have for example one project with one outdoor unit and 7 indoor units.

  4. Use with Modbus Air

I want to use te template with te Modbus Air interface, but in te Loxone Config, i can add just one Modbus Device inside the Modbus Air. How can i solve this?

    1. Hello, The Modbus Air only supports up to one modbus device. There are multiple xml files with different IO addresses made. You can not add this templates to the modbus Air as it only supports one device. If you need to controll multiple Indoor units you can add new inputs and outputs on the same modbus device and change the IP address. So that all in and outputs are under the same modbus device.
