Description

Now, you can control security system from Jablotron you need RS485 extension from Loxone and RS485 extension from Jablotron. Documentation for Jablotron commands is in "additional downloads", as well as a basic sample program.

  1. Update Frequency

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing your solution to connect with Jablotron. If i read the documentation correctly the module of jablotron sends every 8s its status of all sensors. Is this sufficient to use the connection to get the status of for example a motion detector, or is there a trick to overcome that?

    1. I use it as a motion sensor for a light. And when opening the door to pull out the blinds. Everything works almost immediately. However, it is necessary to set the PG outputs, this must be done by the Jablotron supplier. PG outputs are sent from Jablotron almost immediately.

    2. Hi zdebek,

Thx for your prompt reply, Does the PG require a PG output module? The supplier of the jablatron has added a PG 8 output module, I thing I don’t need that but need a RS485 module and some programming on the jablatron side right?

    3. Only the JA-121T module is required to communicate with Loxon via RS-485. The supplier then pairs sensors to the individual PG outputs. If you also have a relay module, it is possible to set PG inputs.

  2. Data from the thermostat, thermometer and pulse counter

Hi Is it possible to download data from the thermostat, thermometer and pulse counter or only the status of PG inputs and outputs?

    1. There's nothing about analog values in the documentation for the JA-121T, so I assume it's not possible.

  3. Data recieving, but no value in input-variables

    Hi guys!

I am using the template for the first time, and on the initial run, it’s possible to retrieve some information from Jablotron in the Loxone RS485-Monitor. However, if I use the predefined variables like STATE 1 READY\r\n, the sensor in Loxone Config does not change its state.

Additionally, when I use the command PRFSTATE, I see some values in the RS485 learning mode, but I am unable to use them as an analog input.

    Can you help me?

    Thanks, Harald

    1. Hi, it depends if section 1 exists at all, Jablotron sends STATE 1 READY if section 1 is unlocked. PRFSTATE as such is unusable, as I wrote somewhere else, it is necessary to pair individual sensors from the Jablotron integrator (even locking, disarming, object alarm) to PG outputs, these messages go almost immediately and Loxone can react to them. The Jablotron integrator must of course provide information on which PG output is which sensor, the so-called the sensor in the kitchen is PG 19. Jablotron then sends these messages PG 19 ON PG 19 OFF exactly as stated in the template.

    Hello guys!

I'm using the template for the first time and when I first started it after uploading the template I thought that some values would be shown. But after reading the previous question I understood that I have to set the outputs to PG outputs in the Jablotron system. How do I solve the problem of single sensors so that I can see their status? Thank you in advance for your advice.

  5. Loxone reporting illegible messages from Jablotron

Hello guys, I have just setup the connection between Loxone and Jablotron over RS485 and in the RS485 monitor I see some traffic but Loxone isn't able to interpret it into meaningful messages.

    1. Problem solved. I connected the resistor and the GND wire and the communication is already working.

The Wiring diagram on the top off the overview page is incorrect I think?

The Yellow Green Black And Red terminals need to be connected to Jablotron I think right?

The bottom terminals are for RS485.

    Or I am wrong?

I can't get it to work, I am not getting any information in loxone. I connected the ground wire and the resister.

    1. fixed

    2. Thanks, my connection is working now.

I forget to connect the 12v on the rs485 side.

      Thanks
