Description

You will need to first connect the DMBM control module to your network and connect using it's IP. Once in the “Nice Screen Configuration Tool”, you can search for motors and find their ept addresses. Also, you can set the travel times/speeds and set groups in the tool. The first motor starts at 1, and the rest count up from there.

DMBM Documentation attached.

Using automatic shading block to send HTTP commands to a single shade motor with ept "1"

For up: /cgi/devcmd.xml?adr=1&ept=1&cmd=3 For down: /cgi/devcmd.xml?adr=1&ept=1&cmd=4 for stop: /cgi/devcmd.xml?adr=1&ept=1&cmd=2

Using automatic shading block to send HTTP commands to a shade group.

Best practice when sending group commands is to use the bitmask generator in the DMBM command generator tool. You will need to make a list of every motor ept in the group you want to control and select them in the bitmask generator. This adds a bit of time, but you will have more consistent results this way.

Examples 1: UP to the motor 1 using the Group Command type 1 http://192.168.0.1/cgi/devevt.xml?adr=01&ept=FF&evt=C2&dat=030000000200000000000000000000 0000000000 • IP_ADDRESS: 192.168.0.1 • ADR: 01 • EPT: FF • EVT: C2 (group command type 1) • DAT: o WW: 03, UP CMD o YY: 00, NO DATA o ZZZZ: 0000, NO DELAY o XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX: 02000000000000000000000000000000 (activation on EPT 1)

For up: /cgi/devevt.xml?adr=01&ept=FF&evt=C2&dat=0300000002000000000000000000000000000000 For down: /cgi/devevt.xml?adr=01&ept=FF&evt=C2&dat=0400000002000000000000000000000000000000 for stop: /cgi/devevt.xml?adr=01&ept=FF&evt=C2&dat=0200000002000000000000000000000000000000
