Description
GoodWe three-phase hybrid voltage inverters from the ET series are equipped with two MPP trackers as standard and allow the connection of high-voltage batteries. This converter is resistant to failure of the distribution network and therefore provides a perfect backup for a family house and a company.

GoodWe ET - komunikace
OpenDobrý den, nalezl jsem Vaši šablonu pro hybridní střídač GoodWe do Loxone. Měl bych na Vás dotaz. Mám střídač GoodWe GW10K-ET Plus. V popisu uvádíte, že je zapotřebí dokoupit LAN modul (střídač má pouze WIFI). Loxone šablona je Modbus zařízení. Znamená to, že si v Loxone vytvořím Modbus server (s IP LAN modulu střídače) a do něj přidám Vaší šablonu?? Komunikace je tedy Modbus TCP?? Všude na internetu se uvádí, že ze střídače lze vyčítat údaje pouze přes RS485. Jenže do tohoto portu je již připojen GoodWe Smart Meter, tedy střídač je master a elektroměr slave. Není mi tedy jasné, jestli k Loxonu potřebuji kupovat RS485 Extension či Modbus Extension, abych mohl vyčítat údaje o spotřebě domu, aktuální výrobě, přebytky a použil Loxone jako náhradu Wattrouteru. Pokud ale zde uvádíte nutnost pořízení LAN modulu, pak by mohla komunikace se střídačem probíhat přes Modbus TCP, tedy nebylo by ani potřeba připojovat Loxone na elektroměr, protože z něj už vyčítá střídač, který mi ty údaje také poskytne. Chápu to tak správně??

Dobrý den, ano je to tak. V LoxCfg vytvoříte modbus server a nakonfigurujete na střídač a následně použijete šablonu.
Dobrý den, Komunikace je opravdu TCP/IP, i když v Modbsu tabulkách uvádí RTU... Spojení jde i přes wi-fi modul, je potřeba pouze povolit Modbus, to dělají vzdáleně z GoodWe.
Tak jsem se právě dozvěděl nové informace:
Wifi modul - Modbus umí pouze číst LAN modul - Modbus umí číst i zapisovat
!! Doporučuji LAN modul i kvůli lepší stabilitě.
Registry pro zápis
OpenDobrý den, předem bych chtěl velmi poděkovat za šablonu LOXONE pro GoodWe je velmi užitečná. Mám ještě doplňující dotaz nezkoušel jste zpřístupnit registry i pro zápis dat, kdy by bylo možné přes LOXONE upravovat některé parametry střídače a jeho vnitřní nastavení ?

Dnes jsem nahrál novou verzi, která ma moznost řídit pretoky pres modbus. Musíte nyní počkat než to Loxone schválí.

Openhello, is it possible to connect the goodwe smart meter directly to the loxone modbus and read the values ?

Yes, this works. But you won't need, as you can might consider to read the entire inverter using modbus. With that you have the meter readings of the smart meter together with data from the inverter.
2nd battery on GW25K

I'm searching the web and cannot find the registers for the 2nd BMS to retrieve SOC, Voltage and Current for the 2nd BMS of the larger inverter.
Do you have a good contact or even information for that?

Partially. It is one of the two things:
1. Two batteries of the same size with a GW25k are treated similarly. They charge and discharge with a difference of 2-5 % each. They are mostly on same level. The value I receive when querying Modbus is most likely battery 1.
2. The value could already be the everage of all connected batteries and therefore we don’t get the required register.
Let us know in case I’m wrong. ;)

Hi,
turns out you don't need the LAN kit to use Modbus TCP.
Set static IP in the router for the inverter (i.e. via MAC binding), so it does not change with new DHCP lease. OR Set static IP in the inverter via SEMS or SolarGo (while doing network config). This IP should be outside of the range of IPs that are given out by DHCP server in the router. Usually 10-99 or 201-250 should be safe. Most routers I saw gives out IPs in the range 100-199, e.g. 192.168.1.100.
Then go to Loxone Config, under Network Periphery add Modbus Server and put IP of the inverter in the Settings of Modbus TCP Server.
Once you got the server, select it and open Device Templates on the top bar. There you use the template which you download from this library. It is just an XML file. Once you get it in the Periphery tree go to Settings. There you put the Modbus Address that you configured in SolarGo when enabling Modbus TCP. I like to give the same ID as the last number in IP. Easier to remember. So if you set IP to 192.168.1.200, then Modbus Address should be 200.
And voila, you can drag and drop elements and they should show the right values in LiveView.
I also bought Wifi/Lan kit, but turns out it is not only unnecessary, but also harmful because the inverter does not like to connect to SEMS when connected to LAN. At least in my experience.
People on HomeAssistant Github also complain that enabling Modbus breaks the connection with SEMS (sooner or later). Like there is not enough resources to run both or something.

řízení nabíjení baterie
Opennemáte prosím radu, jakým způsobem lze ze střídače data nejen číst, ale případně je zadávat a chování střídače tak řídit ? jde mi hlavně o možnost cyklování baterie přes zimu, kdy FVE prakticky nevyrábí žádnou elektřinu.

GW15K-ET Modbus TCP
OpenKann mir hier jemand sagen wie man den GW15K-ET auslesen kann, ich habe alles eingestellt sowohl in Loxone als auch am WR aber kriege keinerlei Werte. Alles bis GW10K-ET funktioniert einwandfrei aber der 15K bringt mich echt zum verzweifeln.

Nemáte prosím radu jak lze dát invertoru pokyn aby začal nabíjet baterii? jde mi právě o vykrývání spotových cen. Nikde jsem nenašel správné registry do kterých lze zapisovat.

LAN or WIFI module for TCP/IP Modbus
OpenWifi modul - Can only read data via modbus! LAN modul - Can read and write data via modbus.
Anyway LAN module is more stable for connection...

Register Goodwe 35183 nepracuje správne
OpenVo Vašej knižnici píšete, že na vstup "Měřiče pro úložište" Pf má ísť hodnota Goodwe registra 35183. Bohužiaľ, nepracuje správne.
Viď: https://www.vodnici.net/community/loxone-a-arduino/stridac-goodwe-goodwe-gw10k-et/paged/15/#post-41189 V príslušnom vlákne je aj riešenie, ktoré mi pomohlo: Nahradil som ho súčinom registrov 35181 a 35180 (ktorý som delil tisíckou), aby som mal výsledok v kW.

Dobrý den, na vzorové instalaci, kde to už běží 3 roky tento registr funguje normálně. Buďto novější FW má něco jinak v registrech nebo netuším co se tam stalo. Nemám to jak vyzkoušet.

Hello, I have implemented only the registers for control into a non-public library, but I have not invented any logic for control. I do not have GoodWe at home, but Solax. I developed this library for a customer.
Modbusserver not reachable

I have a GoodWe hybrid inverter (GW8K-ET).
The inverter is connected to my network via Wi-Fi. I read in previous discussions that a LAN converter would not be necessary.
I activated Modbus on the Solar GO app --> Communication settings --> RS485, turned Modbus on, and set it to port 201.
Communication settings --> WLAN/LAN --> DHCP off and IP address fixed 192.168.1.201
Loxone miniserver fixed on 192.168.1.16
I downloaded the library and implemented it in Loxone Config as shown in the example program.
In Loxone Config, the Modbus server address is set to 192.168.1.201:502
in loxone config, goodwe converter to port 201
When I now monitor Modbus, I get the message that the Modbus server is not reachable
What should I do? Buy a LAN module after all, switch off the converter completely? Am I overlooking something?

Dobrý den, šablonu mám akorát nelze zveřejnit tady. Když si přečtete dokumentaci ModBus tak se ty registry dozvíte. Přeji hezký den F.

It works for me, but one does not need a LAN kit. It was a waste of money. Modbus TCP works on wifi as well. Also looks like SEMS connection is broken when I use the LAN cable. I'll stay on Wifi for now and see if the problems happen again.
