Description

Using the application to record the address of the shutter drive, we record this value in the "RS485 configuring commands" table according to the instructions:

AM68-1.5/100-EM-GP , A-OK LM100-1.2/100-EM-GP

A-OK Motor Drive Command Configuration Guide General Command Structure (PC to Motor): Each command is a sequence of bytes in the following format: [Head Code] [ID] [Channel Low] [Channel High] [Command] [Data] [Checksum]

- Head Code: 0x9A (Fixed value) - ID: Motor identifier. For ID=1, this is 0x01. - Channel: Represented by 2 bytes (Low and High), acting as a bitmask. Each bit corresponds to a channel from 1 to 16. - Channel Low: Controls channels 1-8. To activate only channel 1, the least significant bit (bit 0) must be set to 1. In hexadecimal, this is 0x01. - Channel High: Controls channels 9-16. Since we only need channel 1, all bits here should be 0. This is 0x00. - Command: Defines the action (open, close, stop, etc.). - Data: Command parameter. For basic commands, it is often also a command code. - Checksum: Calculated using the XOR (exclusive OR) operation between the bytes: ID ^ Channel_Low ^ Channel_High ^ Command ^ Data.

1. OPEN (UP) Command The "Open" command uses command code 0x0A and data 0xDD.

- Calculate the Checksum: - 0x01 (ID) ^ 0x01 (Ch Low) ^ 0x00 (Ch High) ^ 0x0A (Command) ^ 0xDD (Data) = 0xD7 - Final Byte Sequence: - 9A 01 01 00 0A DD D7

2. CLOSE (DOWN) Command The "Close" command uses command code 0x0A and data 0xEE.

- Calculate the Checksum: - 0x01 (ID) ^ 0x01 (Ch Low) ^ 0x00 (Ch High) ^ 0x0A (Command) ^ 0xEE (Data) = 0xE4 - Final Byte Sequence: - 9A 01 01 00 0A EE E4

3. STOP Command The "Stop" command uses command code 0x0A and data 0xCC.

- Calculate the Checksum: - 0x01 (ID) ^ 0x01 (Ch Low) ^ 0x00 (Ch High) ^ 0x0A (Command) ^ 0xCC (Data) = 0xC6 - Final Byte Sequence: - 9A 01 01 00 0A CC C6

Command Summary Table for ID=1, Channel=1

How to Send the Command

1. Configure the Connection:

- Interface: RS-485 or RS-232. - Baud Rate: 2400 - Data Bits: 8 - Stop Bits: 1 - Parity: None

1. Sending the Command: 2. Send the byte sequence (from the "Command (HEX)" column) to the device via the configured serial connection. Send the bytes in order from left (Head Code) to right (Checksum).

Important Notes:

- Ensure the motor with ID=1 is programmed to respond to channel 1. - For group control (all drives on channel 1, regardless of their ID), use ID=0x00 instead of ID=0x01 in the command. - The checksum is mandatory for the command to be executed correctly. If you change any parameter (ID, Channel, Data), you must recalculate the checksum.
