Door Lock via Seam API

How to Control Seam-Compatible Door Locks with Loxone Follow these instructions to control Seam compatible door locks with Loxone. Compatible door locks can be found here. Note: The door lock must already be connected to the respective manufacturer's account. Additional steps might be required for some door locks. See here for more information.

Seam.co 1. Sign up for a free Seam account 2. Log in to the Seam Console 3. Create a Production Workspace

- In the upper-left corner of Seam Console, click the workspace switcher to display the workspace list. - Click New Workspace. - In the Add a Workspace dialog, type a name for your new workspace and your company name. - Disable Sandbox mode. - Click Create Workspace.

4. Connect a new Door Lock

- In the top navigation pane of Seam Console, click Devices. - In the upper-right corner of the Devices page, click Add Devices. Seam Console displays a Connect Webview (that is, an authorization flow) that enables you to connect a device account to Seam. - In the Connect Webview, click Continue. - In the manufacturer list, select the manufacturer of the devices that you want to connect. - Follow the login instructions to authorize these devices.

Once authorized, the devices associated with this test account appear in the Devices table in your production workspace. 5. Click on the newly-added device and copy the ID (Example: 123e4567-e89b-12d3-a456-426614174000) 6. Create an API Key

- In the top navigation pane of Seam Console, click Developer. - In the left navigation pane, click API Keys. - In the upper-right corner of the API Keys page, click Add API Key. - In the Add API Key dialog, type a name for your new API key and then click Create API Key. - Copy the newly-created API key (Example: seam_test2bMS_94SrGUXuNR2JmJkjtvBQDg5c)

Loxone Config Replace the Device ID and API Key in the template with the ones that you copied from the Seam Console.
