Description

This HTTP Virtual-In template enables retrieving very useful data about BWT water softener devices of the Perla series into a Loxone project. Note: BWT AQA (blue cover) are not supported!

Device Setup

- BWT Perla device must be connected to (W-)LAN network - API enabled Firmware must be requested from BWT (free-of-charge) - planned release by BWT in Q1/2024 - Device must be registered in BWT App - the confirmation email contains the password to connect to the device - assign a fixed IP address for the BWT device, either in your network router's DHCP settings or on the BWT device itself - Insert the received password and the IP address of the device into the connect URL (username is always "user"): http://user:<PASSWORD>@<IP-ADDRESS>:8080/api/GetCurrentData

To meter the water consumption the VI "BlendedWaterSinceSetup_l" can be connected to a Meter block's "Mr" input:

  1. Important information for set up missing

    After BWT Perla is on latest beta Firmware the customer needs to activte the API in settings->General->Connection. This information is missing. Maybe you also want to mention that the Firma 2.02XX is still in beta stage and needs to be used at own risk

    Is there also a API call for AQA Stop function available? Would be nice to stop the water if something happens.
