Description

Works with at least Vento Expert A30 W V.2, Vento Expert A50-1 W V.2, Vento Expert Duo A30-1 W V.2 and compatible ventilators. You have to customize the IP, perhaps the UDP-port, the ID of the system and the password. At the start of the command \xfd\xfd\x02\x10\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\xID\x04\xPW\xPW\xPW\xPW replace the IDs with the ID of your Vento and PW with the password (default is 1111, so use \x31\x31\x31\x31). If your password is longer, also adjust the \x04 before the password. You have to use the HEX-value, so 0 will change to \x30, 1 to \x31, A to \x41 and so on. To calculate the checksum use a hex-calculator, e. g. hex-mode of windows calculator, and add the values of the bytes beginning after (!) \xfd\xfd and without the last two bytes (they are ethe checksum). If the calculated checksum is 418, use \x18\x04 as the last two bytes of the command.

Still to come: Update for air intake and reading parameters of the vent. Didn't get that yet...

    Hi,

I have trouble with the commands, can you help me? What is the hole command for OFF with this parameters, if you can send me hole example-please

    ID: 0027003C47415717 password: 1111

I started like this, but I'm not sure at the end what exactly I shoul do...

    \xfd\xfd\x02\x10\x00\x00\x02\x07\x00\x00\x03\x0c\x04\x07\x04\x01\x05\x07\x01\x07 \x04\x01\x01\x01\x01\x03\x01\x00\x15\x04\x18\x04

    1. ok this is my last command for OFF and there is no respond, but I'm not sure if the VENT is connected directly to the router if input for ID and PW is as you metion in the example.

    1. Hi Tomaž, you have to use the HEX-Code of the ID and the passwort. The description of the template is not clear enough or maybe wrong, I'm sorry about that and I will correct this. So the 0 in the ID will be \x30 in the command and a C will be \x43 and so on. If the ID is 0027003C47415717, the command for turning off has to start with \xfd\xfd\x02\x10\x30\x30\x32\x37... Calculate the checksum at the end of the command as you can see in the description of the template. Best regards Ralf

Yes I figure that out before, but steel there is no responde, as you can see below I do have correct hex ID and password. Maybe there is wrong cheksum...could you check for me.

\xfd\xfd\x02\x10\x30\x30\x32\x37\x30\x30\x33\x43\x34\x37\x34\x31\x35\x37\x31\x37\x04\x31\x31\x31\x31\x03\x01\x00\xAD\x02 - command for turning OFF

    1. No sorry my mistake this is correct and it is working:) \xfd\xfd\x02\x10\x30\x30\x32\x37\x30\x30\x33\x43\x34\x37\x34\x31\x35\x37\x31\x37\x04\x31\x31\x31\x31\x03\x01\x00\x21\x04

    2. Great! x21x04 is the checksum I got, too. The calculation drove me crazy when I integrated my vents in Loxone...

Unfortunately, the factory Blauberg description is incomplete and inaccurate in my opinion, as is the technical support, from which I expected support by letter, but the answer was not very helpful. For example, I asked about the CRC algorithm, of which there are more than 60, which one to use. No meaningful answer was received. It took me a long time to figure out how it works, so I'm sharing it, maybe it will help you.

Although the device ID appears to be a hexadecimal value, it is actually an ASCII character in the command. That is, for the ID 003a4e... it is \x30\x30\x33\x41\x34\x45... (This was not clear to me from the Blauberg description.)

The password is similar. The factory password is "1111", which is 4 in length, so \x04, and then comes the password, which is 1111, which is ASCII, so its code in hexadecimal format is \x31\x31\x31\x31. That is: \x04\x31\x31\x31\x31 (Loxone is expected to be able to interpret the following format: \x041111 (\x04 leght, "1111' password in ASCII code))

CRC generation is the addition of numbers given by Hexadecimal codes. But! The first two starting bytes (\xfd\xfd) do not need to be counted. The last two will be in the CRC Lo-Hi byte format. So the full string: \xfd\xfd\x02\x10\x30\x30\x33\x41\x30\x30\x32\x32\x34\x45\x34\x36\x35\x37\x30\x38\x04\x31\x31\x31\x31\x03\x01\x01\x2b\x04

    Real data packet \x02\x10\x30\x30\x33\x41\x30\x30\x32\x32\x34\x45\x34\x36\x35\x37\x30\x38\x04\x31\x31\x31\x03\x01\x01

Addition (hexa mode!) 02+10+30+30+33+41+30+30+32+32+34+45+34+36+35+37+30+38+04+31+31+31+31+01+01 = CRC is: 042b So what to do with the packet \x2b\x04

The data packet to be sent with the CRC bytes at the beginning and at the end together \xfd\xfd\x02\x10\x30\x30\x33\x41\x30\x30\x32\x32\x34\x45\x34\x36\x35\x37\x30\x38\x04\x31\x31\x31\x31\x03\x01\x01\x2b\x04

This data packet is the unit power-ON command.

Important: This pattern only works for this specific device ID. So you need to change this to the device ID you want to use. It is also worth changing the factory password "1111".

    Good luck!

    1. I see the message board has removed the backslash character from everywhere. /x30... only the / is reversed in the hexadecimal notation.

So there is a reversed / before every x character.

  5. CRC check

    Open

    Hello all,

could you please help me to understand what type of CRC check you have been using, i.e. 16-bit ARC, CDMA, CMS, etc.?

    Thanks a lot. KR Jan

    1. Hi Jan, the CRC calculation is just an addition of the values. Have a look what Istvan wrote... Regards Ralf
